CA50 - Duncan Hunter (R) v. Ammar Campa-Najjar

The Democratic Challenger: Ammar Campa-Najjar

Ammar Campa NajjarAmmar Campa-Najjar has an impressive career in politics, labor, and commerce. He hopes to serve his community in Congress. Campa-Najjar was born in East County to a working-class mother. Raised by his community and serving as a church janitor as his first job, he has devoted his life to service. Graduating with dual degrees in psychology and philosophy from San Diego State University, Ammar always had an interest in public advocacy and service.  He has served as an official in the Department of Labor and went on to occupy the role of a deputy regional field director for President Obama's reelection campaign. He also worked at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) as a Communications and Marketing director to promote economic growth for Hispanic small-business owners.

His top issues include: Addressing income inequality, bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform, college debt relief, universal access to health care.

The Republican Incumbent: Duncan Hunter

Indicted Congressman Duncan Hunter is desperately running racist ads in the 50th District in a desperate attempt to save his seat. Let's defeat him in November to help him focus on his many legal problems without distraction. Hunter was one of the first Republicans in Congress to back Trump, and he’s a champion of the “border wall” that Mexico still isn’t paying for. Hunter’s got to go.
